 POOLS FIRM SUED AS COLLECTOR IS JAILED 
 A footdall pools collector who cheated 
 a syndicate out of a £2.3 million win  
 has been jailed for 30 months.         
                                        
 The High Court in Glasgow heard that   
 Cameron Baxter, 27, a student from     
 Stirling, pocketed the £5 stake money  
 instead of handing it to Littlewoods.  
                                        
 $hj five members of the syndicate have 
 now lodged a civil action against      
 Littlewoods for the £2.3 million.      
                                        
 $hj company claims it is not liable    
 bjcausj the five "only had a contract  
 with Baxter as their agent".
