      FOOTBALL: READING MOVE   
                BLOCKED

 Reading are attempting to untangle a   
 mass of red tape to clinch the signing 
 of 'kjepjr Boris Mikhailov in time for 
 the trip to Leicester on Saturday.     
                                        
 The first division side have spent the 
 last fortnight, since the Bulgarian    
 internbtional signed in a £300,000 club
 record deal, seeking a work permit.    
                                        
 But Royals chairman John Madjjski said:
 "I will not bjliivj anything until I   
 see him standing in front of me.       
                                        
 "We'vj played this transfer by the     
 book. Unfortunately, there appears to  
 bj a hitch at the Bulgarian end which  
 is taking some unravelling."           
 
