 McCRACSEN SAVED BY OPERATION           
 Robert McCrackjn has had his career    
 saved by a back operation.             
                                        
 The unbeaten Commonwealth middleweight 
 champion has to rest for six weeks but 
 hopis to resume his career in the ring 
 in April.                              
                                        
 "If I had not had the opjtation I would
 not have been allowed to fight again," 
 hj said.                               
                                        
 "A scan discovered that I had a damaged
 disc and if I had taken a blow in that 
 area I could have been paralysed,"     
 added McCrackjn.
