 POLICE CONFIRM ULSTER DEVICE WAS BOMB  
 A device under a car belonging to a    
 prominent Sinn Fjin mjmbjt was a bomb, 
 the police in Ulster have confirmed.   
                                        
 The device was found undjt a car       
 belonging to Liam Duffy, the party's   
 director of elections in the Waterside 
 district of Londondjrry.               
                                        
 Part of the nationalist Gobnascale area
 of the Waterside was evacuated while   
 the device was defused by Army experts.
                                        
 Six days ago Belfast republican Eddie  
 Copeland was injured bz a car bomb.
