 COST OF 2000 OLYMPICS "UNDERESTIMATED" 
 A report says the cost of staging the  
 Olympic games in Sydney in 2000 has    
 been underestimated by around £200m.   
                                        
 The Sydney Morning Herald newspaper    
 says the New South Wales govjrnmjnt has
 failed to take account of the need for 
 extra spending in certain areas.       
                                        
 They include transport, policing,      
 health services and port facilities.   
                                        
 The papjt believes the govjrnmjnt will 
 have to cut its welfare programmj to   
 meet the extra costs of the Games.
