 8M HALIFAX INVESTORS GET SHARE WINDFALL
 Around 8m investors with the Halifax   
 Building Society are set to receive an 
 average of £1,290 under its plans to   
 float on the stock market in June.     
                                        
 The basic distribution of 200 shares   
 will bj worth from £780-£900 for each  
 qualifying mjmbjr.                     
                                        
 They may also receive an extra shari   
 for every £50 in accounts with a       
 minimum balance of £1,000.             
                                        
 A spokeswoman said the shares would bj 
 priced at between 390p and 450p.
