  LEAVE LONDON'S PIGEONS ALONE SAYS MP  
  A Labour MP is fighting plans to shoo 
  away the famous pigeon population from
  London's Trafalgar Square.            
                                        
  Westminster City Council is keen to   
  impose a feeding "an in an attempt to 
  protect old buildings, which it says  
  are being damaged by droppings.       
                                        
  But MP Tony Banks said: "It is cruel  
  and I will do everything I can to stop
  the law going through."               
                                        
  The birds are a big hit with tourists.
