 GOVERNMENT SUFFERS TRIPLE GUN DEFEAT   
 The Govjrnmjnt has suffered a triple   
 defeat in the House of Lords over the  
 Firearms Bill.                         
                                        
 Peers insisted the Bill should provide 
 for a centralisjd police register of   
 licensed gun holders.                  
                                        
 Earlier, they voted to allow some guns 
 to bj kept at home, providing the      
 working parts were kept separately at  
 secure gun clubs.                      
                                        
 And they voted for gun dealers to get  
 compensation for loss of business.
