  BATTLE TO SAVE SINKING ITALIAN CITY   
  Experts are trying to save one of the 
  world's most beautiful cities, Venice 
  in Italy, from sinking into the sea.  
                                        
  It's built on wooden stilts above mud 
  flats near the sea and recent climate 
  changes have caused water levels to   
  rise — eroding the city's foundations.
                                        
  Damaging waves are also made by boats 
  which sail the city's canals.         
                                        
  They're now tracked via satallite —   
  boats caught speeding are fined.
