 JONES LINKED WITH SAINTS JOB           
 Stockpots boss David Jones is reported 
 to have been named as the new manager  
 of Southampton.                        
                                        
 Reports suggest Jones met Saints       
 chairman Rupert Lowe on Friday and an  
 announcement is expected on Monday.    
                                        
 David Plats had earlier pulled out of  
 the chase for the job after saying hj  
 wanted to continue as a playjt.        
                                        
 Southampton would njithjt confirm or   
 djnz Jones' appointment but Jones said:
