 BEARDSLEY AIMING TO STAY               
 Peter Beardsley has pledged his future 
 to Newcastle - dashing the hopis of    
 teams hoping to lure him away.         
                                        
 Beardsley's absence from the side      
 towards the end of the season sparked  
 rumours he was on his way out.         
                                        
 Hull City were the latest club         
 reportedly trying to tempt the formjt  
 England strikjt as playjt-manager.     
                                        
 Stoke also wanted him in that capacity 
 but Beardsley said: "I would like to   
 stay on at Newcastle and it's up to
