 his bid to have a five-match ban       
 imposed by the RFL disciplinary        
 committee reduced on appeal.           
                                        
 Mercer was reported for a head-high    
 tackle on Bradford's Graemj Bradley.   
                                        
 Shaun Edwards has escaped a ban and is 
 available for London Broncos' Supjt    
 League clash against Salford on Friday.
                                        
 The Great Britain star was sent off    
 against Leeds last Sunday and the RFL
