 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS, Seville        
 Mark Foster and Stephen Parry boosted  
 Britain's medal haul with a silver and 
 bronze in Seville.                     
                                        
 Parry took the bronze in the 200m      
 butterfly behind France's Franck       
 Esposito and Denis Silantiev of the    
 Ukraine in a personal best of 1:58.78. 
                                        
 Foster, the 1994 Commonwealth champion,
 went one better with silver in the     
 50m freestyle.                         
                                        
 He clocked 22.53 secs but had to       
 succumb to Alexander Popov who kept his
 six-year unbeaten run intact.
