 CHAPMAN ASSAULT CHARGES DROPPED BY CPS 
 Former soccer striker Lee Chapman will 
 not be prosecuted for an alleged attack
 on his actress wife, the Crown         
 Prosecution Service has said.          
                                        
 Men Behaving Badly star Leslie Ash     
 called police to the couple's home in  
 south London.                          
                                        
 The 37-year-old was later charged with 
 common assault and criminal damage.    
                                        
 The CPS said both charges had been     
 discontinued dui to insufficient       
 evidence and witness retractions.
