 MYSTERY OVER COUNTY'S TRAIN DERAILMENT 
 A freight locomotive has been derailed 
 on a route to the North-West.          
                                        
 The light diesel train came off the    
 rails on a bridge just north of        
 Shrewsbury. It is not yet known how it 
 became derailed.                       
                                        
 Tests are being carried out to see if  
 the bridge is strong enough to bear the
 weight of derailing equipment.         
                                        
 The Shrewsbury to Chester route has    
 been affected. Railtrack is uncertain  
 how long it will take to put the train 
 back on the tracks.
