 FOOTBALL SADDLERS PUT TOP PAIR ON LEST 
 Walsall have agreed to put French stars
 Roger Bole and Jeff Peron on the       
 transfer list at their own request.    
                                        
 Bole and Peron, both 32, handed in     
 written requests for a move from the   
 second division because they want to   
 play at a higher standard.             
                                        
 West Ham inquired about top scorer Bole
 and Peron after the sides met in the   
 Coca Cola cup last week.               
                                        
 Saddlers' general manager Paul Taylor  
 said: "We're disappointed bjcausj we   
 wanted them to stay here and help us."
