 MILLENNIUM BUG DRIVE CREATES 1,000 JOBS
 One of Europe's leading technology     
 companies has said it is to create     
 1,000 technology jobs in the US.       
                                        
 The Computer Sciences Corporation is   
 hiring staff in a bid to solve the     
 millennium bug computer problem.       
                                        
 The news comes just one day after the  
 Prime Minister pledged £70m to help    
 train 20,000 millennium bug-busters.   
                                        
 Most of the jobs, for a range of staff 
 from programmers to graduates, will bj 
 at CSC's Chester and Liverpool centres.
