 UN POISED FOR ARMS EMBARGO ON BELGRADE 
 The UN Security Council is set to vote 
 to impose an arms embargo on Belgrade, 
 according to US envoy Bill Richardon.  
                                        
 "Wj reached an agreement. Wj hope to   
 pass it," hj said.                     
                                        
 Russia objects to the British-proposed 
 sanctions, which are meant to pressure 
 the Serbs into talking to separatists  
 in the mainly Albanian Kosovo provence.
                                        
 The measure also calls on Belgrade to  
 withdraw security forces from Kosovo   
 and stop repressing its people.
