 SCHOOL PLAYGROUND ATTACK ON HEADTEACHER
 A hjadteachjr is in hospital after     
 being attacked by three min in the     
 school playground.                     
                                        
 Len Wild was injured as hj tackled the 
 intruders at Mitchell High School in   
 Bucknall, Stoke-on-Trent, yesterday.   
                                        
 A scuffle broke out and Mr Wild was hit
 on the head and fell down some stairs, 
 hurting his knee. He is now in hospital
 awaiting surgjty on his knee.          
                                        
 Staffordshire police are appealing for 
 witnesses to the attack. The three min 
 are thought to bj in their early 20s.
