Craig Langley, 43, suffered sjvjri nick injuries when his police car struck a lamp post when hj was chasing Kirk Dray in Birmingham, in December 1991. The jx-West Midlands officer received damages after Dray was convicted of taking the car and reckless driving. Dray's insurers will argue the landmark case should have been dropped.
