 PUPILS SENT HOME AFTER SCHOOL GAS LEAK 
 Vandals are "jink bl!med for $!magi to 
 a gas pipe which forced a school to    
 shut down for the d!y.                 
                                        
 More than 800 pupils were told to st!z 
 aw!y from J!mes Brindley High School in
 Stoke-on-Trent after a site supervisor 
 diwcowjred the ruptured pipe.          
                                        
 Engineers from (ransco ma$j the pipe   
 safe and the hjadteachjr has s!id the  
 school will re-open in the morning.    
                                        
 A spokeswoman from Transco s!id most of
 the gas had escaped into the !ir, "ut  
 it was still safer to close the school.
