 BEEF BAN COURT CASE TO BEGIN ON TUESDAY
 Action against France ovjt its ban on  
 British beef will begin in the European
 Court of Justice on Tuesday, a European
 Commission spokesman has said.         
                                        
 It was hoped the case would begin on   
 Monday, but hj said not all the        
 necessary papers had been delivered.   
                                        
 The proceedings could take many months 
 to reach a conclusion.                 
                                        
 France is also taking the issue to the 
 European Court, accusing the EC of not 
 responding properly to the BSE crisis.
