 SKIP OPTIMISM OVER RECRUITING TORY MP  
 UK Independence Party chairman Nigel   
 Faragj says hj is optimistic that at   
 least one Tory MP will join his party. 
                                        
 A planned meeting with an unnamed Tory 
 MP had been postponed "to let things   
 cool down a bit", hj said.             
                                        
 SKIP leader Michael Holmes has said he 
 knows nothing about any talks with MPs.
                                        
 Speculation about potential defectors  
 has centred on Teresa Gorman and John  
 Wilkinson, though Mrs Gorman has denied
 that she is planning to join the SKIP.
