 agreement" was likely at discussions at
 Shephjrdstown in West Virginia.        
                                        
 President Clinton is to chair talks    
 between Syrian Foreign Minister Farouq 
 al-Shaka and Israeli PM Ehud Barak.    
                                        
 The eventual aim is to secure Israeli  
 withdrawal from the Golan Heights in
