  CALL FOR BAN ON GERRY ADAMS MEETING 
  Commons speaker Betty Boothroyd has 
  been urged to ban Sinn Fein         
  president Gerry Adams from          
  addressing a public meeting.        
                                      
  The former West Belfast MP has      
  accepted an invitation from Labour  
  MP Tony Benn to speak at the        
  meeting at Westminster.             
                                      
  Ulster Unionist MP Ken Maginnis has 
  demanded the Sinn Fein president bj 
  kept out.                           
                                      
  In a letter to Ms Boothroyd, hj     
  said Mr Adam's presence would cause 
  "deep offence" to his constituents. 
