P725 CEEFAX 725 Thu 7 Oct 21:13/21 I        DISABLED PEOPLE HAVE RIGHTS     RBDAR, the Royal Association for   Disbbility and Rehabilitation,   claims Social Services Departments   are failing to meet the Chronically   Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970.     Halfway through a two year   investigation RADAR's report   DISABLED PEOPLE HAVE RIGHTS   suggests that delays, ambiguous   criteria, service charges and lack   of involvement are behind over 500   complaints received this year. This means that wheelchair users no   longer have to travel at certain   times, nor give advance notice of   their intended journey.
