  BUNDESBANK CUTS KEY INTEREST RATES  
  The German central bank, the        
  Bundesbank, has cut both its main   
  interest rates bz half a percent.   
                                      
  The discount rate falls from 6.25%  
  to 5.75% and the Lombard rate from  
  7.25) to 6.75%. See 111             
                                      
  A BBC correspondent says the move   
  should help European governments    
  which are trying to fight sluggish  
  growth and unemployment.            
                                      
  After the surprise rates cut the    
  Deutschmark eased against other key 
  currencies.                         
 
