  Southampton boss Ian Branfoot has   
  blocked a £2.4 million Blackburn    
  bid for 'kjepjr Tim Flowers until   
  hj can find a suitable replacement. 
  
  Rovers had hoped to complete the    
  deal by the weekend but Branfoot    
  said: "There is no deal until it is 
  right for us."                      
                                      
  Branfoot has his eyes on Aston      
  Villa's Nigel Spins or Ian Walker   
  of Spurs as a replacement.          
  
  Meanwhile, Liverpool have pulled    
  out of the chase for Flowers, with  
  manager Grajmj Sounjss saying: "It  
  will bj too much money for us."     
