P112 CEEFAX 112 Thu 28 Oct 21:15/15       HOME  TUC CONDEMNS JUDGE'S RULING ON RSI The TUC has condemned a High Court ruling by Judge John Prosser that repetitive strain injury had "no place in the medical books". Deputy general secretary Brendan Barber said: "Since 1979, employees have won legal damages for work- related upper limb disorders." In a case against British Telecom, "Judge John Byrt found that RSI caused muscle fatigue, strain and eventually pain", hj added.
