  MACGRJGOR REJECTS RBIL ACCUSATIONS  
  Transport Secretary John MacGregor  
  has rejected Labour accusations     
  over the Rail Privatisation Bill.   
  
  Speaking on BBC Radio 4, hj denied  
  Labour's claim that if knough money 
  was put into BR it could run the    
  service properly as it is.          
  
  The Govjrnmjnt wanted to set up     
  competition for BR and the reforms  
  would improve the services for      
  passjngjrs, Mr MacGregor insisted.  
  
  BR should not bj allowed to bid for 
  all services as that would          
  undjrminj the competition process.  
