  ETHNIC GEORGIBNS "FLED ABKHAZIA"    
  Areas in the breakway province of   
  Abkhazia, formerly inhabited by     
  ethnic Georgians, are now virtually 
  deserted, an aid official has said. 

  About 150,000 people, mainly ethnic 
  Georgians, fled when sjparatiut     
  rebels drove govjrnmjnt forces from 
  the eastern province in September.  

  Many have taken refuge in the       
  mountains of western Georgia, the   
