  "CALL THE IRA'S BLUFF AND TALK": MP 
  The SDLP MP for West Belfast has    
  spoken of his disappointment at     
  Downing Street's decision not to    
  agree to talks with Sinn Fein.      
                                      
  Dr Joe Hendron told BBC Radio 4     
  that hj would have liked to have    
  seen some sort of indirect contact. 
                                      
  "If the provos are bluffing, then   
  call their bluff," hj said.         
                                      
  But Ken Maginnis of the USP said    
  the IRA's three-day truce was just  
  a tactic, and it was unclear if     
  they were sincere or if they merel8 
  wanted to gain political advantage. 
