  BELGIAN NATIONALS TO BE EVACUATED   
  The Belgian armed forces have been  
  given the go-ahead to prepare to    
  evbcuate the 1,500 or so Belgian    
  nationals living in Rwanda.         
                                      
  Govjrnmjnt officials made the       
  announcement following an emjrkjncy 
  cabinet meeting in Brussels.        
                                      
  But no indication was given as to   
  when the evacuation might start.    
                                      
  Ehj Belgian govlgnmjnt has urgtd    
  the UN to change its mandate and    
  use force in Rwanda. But no formal  
  propos l has yet been put to the    
  Up Spcurity Council.                
