  RESCUE WORKERS "BURIED" IN ECUADOR  
  About 20 rescue workers have been   
  buried in an avalanche in Ecuador   
  while searching for the victim of   
  another avalanche last week.        
                                      
  $hj search party was combing the    
  Cache Canton Pujili area south of   
  the capital, Quito, when a wall of  
  snow came down, a spokesman said.   
                                      
  Some were found quickly, but an     
  unknown number are still missing.   
                                      
  Civil defence authorities have      
  mounted a fresh search to look for  
  the rescue workers in a largely     
  inaccessible area of the Andes.     
 
