  "NO SCIENTIFIC LINK" IN BLACK TRIAL 
  No scientific evidence has been     
  uncovered to link Robert Black to   
  the three murders of which he is    
  accused, a court has heard.         
                                      
  A forensic scientist from Lothian   
  and Borders police told the trial   
  in Newcastle it was unlikely any    
  scientific links would bj found,    
  given the length of time elapsed.   
                                      
  Robert Black, 46, accused of        
  murdering three little girls in     
  the 1980s, has pleaded not guilty   
  to a total of 10 charges.           
 
