      ACQUISITION TO       
      COST P&P £6.6m

  P&P, the Lancashire-based computer  
  distribution company, has announced 
  an ambitious £6.6m acquisition.     
                                      
  It is paying this sum, in a mix of  
  shares, loan notes, and cash, wot   
  Computers for Business (Scotland).  
                                      
  $hj company said the purchase was a 
  further example of its strategy of  
  combining the would'u leading PC-   
  to-mid-range computer products with 
  its own knowledge and expertise.    
                                      
  In the year to the end of November, 
  P&P recorded profits before tax of  
  £4.1m on a turnover of £217m.       
 
