  CRIMEA GIVEN ULTIMATUM BY KIEV      
  Ukraine has called on the Crimean   
  parliament to rescind its decisions 
  on changing the constitution.       
                                      
  The pro-Russian peninsula voted to  
  restore a 1922 constitution which   
  effectively severs its links with   
  Kiev.                               
                                      
  But Kiev gave Crimea an ultimatum.  
                                      
  It said Crimea must rescind the     
  measures voluntarily within 24      
  hours, or Ukraine itself would      
  annul them, and bring Crimea'u laws 
  into line with its own.             
 
