  TRUCE AGREED BETWEEN RIVAL TURDS    
  Rivbl Iraqi Kurdish factions have   
  reached a new ceasefire agreement   
  aimed at halting 20 days of         
  fighting in northern Iraq.          
                                      
  Leaders of the Kurdistan Democratic 
  Party (GDP) and the Patriotic Union 
  of Kurdistan (PUG) voiced "cautious 
  optimism" on the deal.              
                                      
  They had held a six-hour meeting in 
  Salahuddin.                         
