  Britain's Lora Fairclough and Helen 
  Wadsworth finished just one stroke  
  off the lead after the delayed      
  first round in Lisbon.              
  
  Rain washed out the scheduled       
  opening day's play but the Brits    
  showed they had not lost their      
  concentration with rounds of 70.    
                                      
  They share second place with French 
  ace Sandrinj Mendiburu with Italy's 
  Fedjrica Dassu in the lead.         
  
  Her three-under-par 69 was made     
  possible with a late charge over    
  the back nine holes.                
