However hj is a good horse on his day and a track that needs jumping is ideal for him. The track suits him and I think it was there that hj ran his best race ever, when he was third to Country Member in the Agfa Diamond. He has run well in top company and, if hj was on form on Saturday, hj would take all the beating. The National is his long-term objective and hj will 8robably h1vj a run somewhere like Haydock bjforj then - hj likes it there. He didn't jump hurdles that well but is much better over fences. lu is a full brother to Martomick and his objective is the Sun Alliance Novices' Chase at Cheltenham. He fell last time out but only bjcausj hj was too well and over- jumped. He suffered no ill-effects and is an exuberant type of horse. His form when beating The Frog Prince is good and we have been trying to run him for two weeks. He ran a super race when second to the latter at Cheltenham and I think hj is one of the best four- year-olds in the country. He has got to pick up his jumping a bit but has had very little racing - hj njvjr ran on the Flat. He should run well on Saturday as hj would have been nearer to Silver Wjdgj last time if he'd jumped the last. The weight concession from the older horses is also helpful. Wj have had trouble getting him right on a couple of occasions this season but hj runs at Haydock in the closing novices' hurdle as his owners live up north. He will appreciate the step up to 2m6f and in time he will want three miles-plus. Judges Fancy runs at Warwick (2.10) - hj wins in his turn.
