  TRIAL BID OVER ITALIAN FISH BRIBES  
  Prosecutors have asked for a former 
  judge to bj tried on charges of     
  rigging Mafia cases in return for   
  money, sex, drugs - and fresh fish. 
                                      
  Dominick Cucchiara, a former judge  
  in Sicily, is accused of criminal   
  association, exploiting             
  prostitution, judicial corruption   
  and possession of illegal drugs.    
                                      
  Court sources said supplying fish   
  was another way of thanking him for 
  favourable verdicts in Mafia cases. 
