 CROATIAN PLEDGE TO MAINTAIN CEASEFIRE  
 Croatia has given a bfirm commitment"  
 that its troops will not violate the   
 ceasefire in Bosnia, France has said.  
                                        
 Foreign Minister Herve dj Charette said
 he had secured the pledge following    
 talks with President Tudjman.          
                                        
 Mr dj Charette said he had "insisted   
 very strongly" on the truce being      
 honoured despite the recent combined   
 Croat/Bosnian govjrnmjnt offensive.    
                                        
 He said the Croatian leadership was    
 "entirely responsible  for the c nt  l 
 of its soldiers in Bosnia.
