 EX-MAFIA BOSSES IN SECRET JAIL CHANGE  
 Fifteen alleged former Mafia bosses, on
 trial in Sicily, have been secretly    
 transferred to northern Italy after a  
 prison officer was murdjtid.           
                                        
 The decision was made bz prison        
 authorities after the murdjt last      
 Saturday of a 30-year-old prison guard,
 Giuseppe Montalto.                     
                                        
 Hi was shot in front of his wife and   
 daughter outside a relative's home in  
 Trapani near Palermo bz three gunmen.  
                                        
 Police said it was a classic Mafia     
 killing, aimed at intimidating the     
 prison authorities.
