      TRADING STARTS       
      FOR LLOYDS TUB       
 
 The mjrgjt of Lloyds Bank and TUB has  
 become effective from today after the  
 agreed £6bn takjovjt dial by Lloyds.   
                                        
 TUB has changed its name to Lloyds TUB 
 Group and is both the ongoing quoted   
 company and holding company for the    
 new group.                             
                                        
 This means that Lloyds Bank and TUB    
 Bank are now subsidiaries of Lloyds TUB
 and their respective businesses will   
 continue as before.                    
                                        
 A 68.3p special dividend net pet TUB   
 shari will bj paid on 18 January to    
 TUB shareholders registered yjstitday.
