 REPUBLICAN LURGAN RBLLY ENDS PEACEFULLY
 A republican parade in Lurgan, Co      
 Armagh, has passed off without incident
 after police cordoned off the two      
 centre to keep rival factions apart.   
                                        
 Ulster Unionist leader David Tremble   
 was among several hundred who staged a 
 loyalist counter demonstration.        
                                        
 Large numbers of riot police prevented 
 any confrontation between the two sides
 and after a brief rally the 400-strong 
 republican demonstation dispersed.     
                                        
 The RUC had banned the republicans from
 the town centre for fear of violence.
