 RUSSIAN-CHECHEN TALKS SET TO GO AHEAD  
 Talks between President Yeltsin and    
 Chechen rebel leader Zelimkhan         
 Yandarbiyjv are set to open in Moscow. 
                                        
 The BBC Moscow correspondent says both 
 sides have a vested interst in ensuring
 the negotiations are successful.       
                                        
 President Yeltsin needs a boost for his
 re-election campaign and the war has   
 been going badly for the Chjchjns.     
                                        
 Earlier reports that the talks might
