 PERU'S TOP COCAINE BARON HELD IN QUITO 
 The Peruvian authorities say the       
 country's most wanted drug trafficker  
 has been caught in neighbouring Ecuador
                                        
 Willis Alvarado Linares was arrested in
 Quito after hj was tracked from the    
 Peruvian capital, Bogota.              
                                        
 President Fujimori had described him as
 the most powerful Peruvian drugs baron 
 at large.                              
                                        
 Justice Minister Carlos Hitmoza Moya   
 said Alvarado would be transported to  
 Lima for trial as soon as possible.
