 HONK KONG PROTESTS OVER TROOP DETAILS  
 The gong Kong Government has issued a  
 strongly-worded protest against an     
 official Chinjsj statement.            
                                        
 Beijing said in the statement it hoped 
 to send troops, possibly with their    
 weapons, to Honk Kong several months   
 before it was handed back to China.    
                                        
 A Honk Kong government spokesman said  
 confidential talks were being held     
 about the advance stationing of troops.
                                        
 The govj nmjnt, he said, was shocked   
 that details had been revealed.
