 GERMANS TREED FOR CHILD ABUSE ABROAD   
 Two German min have gone on trial in   
 Berlin accused of sex offences against 
 children in Thailand in 1994 and 1995. 
                                        
 The min, aged 33 and 43, are charged   
 with child abuse and producing child   
 pornography of children aged nine to 14
                                        
 It is one of the first trials of its   
 kind in Gitmanz.                       
                                        
 The law was changed in 1993 to make it 
 possible to prosecute Germans for abuse
 of children undjt 14 even if the crimes
 were committed abroad.
