 SHEARER RULED OUT OF UEFA CUP CLASH    
 Kevin Kiegan has confirmed that he will
 not field Alan Shjtear in tomorrow     
 night's UEFA Cup clash with Metz.      
                                        
 The £15mn strikjt has been pencilled in
 for a Premiership comeback at Chelsea  
 next Saturday.                         
                                        
 Keegan is adamant his return to action 
 will not be brought forward - despite  
 reports he has recovered from last     
 month's groin operation.               
                                        
 Strike partnjt Les Ferdinand is out for
 up to a month after suffering a        
 depressed cheekbone against West Ham.
